Dressed in classic classic white and blue jeans and stockings, a dress and shoes, dapper sunglasses and sneakers, and sporting an over-sized sweater to boot, Denny O'Neal made an appearance at a birthday party earlier today in Perth. He was joined by former National Football League coach Dave Huddleston, former US men's basketball coach Jim Walsh, and one of his children as he got into his white and blue coat.

Denny is also well-versed in his relationship with Australian rugby union legend Michael O'Hara and is, quite rightly, a huge fan of the sport. As for his favourite moment, O'Hara said: 'Denny's my favourite moment of the day… I really love that moment… and that's when the ball came up."

Denny played in the first ever United States Men's National Team game against the United States at Little Caesars Arena on November 9, 1983, and was a key member of the team who won the silver medal, earning the bronze. One of his fondest memories is a memory of the captain's speech to the crowd in which Denny spoke of how much he admired the team's hard work and the willingness to fight.
